Roles in other TV shows as well as the few live shows that she was asked to present helped Elena Santarelli’s career take off. At the perfect age of 29 years, Elena has been very lucrative with her chosen roles in the media. She was a host for the Paralympics Winter Games in Turin in 2006 that sent her career in other directions for a brief period. Today Elena is on the TV program referred to as the Total Request Live, which is a music video station that broadcasts on several of the Latin American TV stations. Her popularity in this culture is still unsurpassed by many others trying to get that little taste of success that Elena has tasted.

After scoring 20 goals in 64 appearances between 2002 and 2004, also making his international debut in that time, he was transferred to Valencia alongside his strike partner Stefano Fiore as a replacement for Gaizka Mendieta and was valued at £8 million. However, after the manager left the club he was loaned out to Parma and later sold for an undisclosed fee to Manchester City. After getting sent off in his first match for 2 yellow cards, he had a less than prolific spell and was shut out of the club, scoring just 3 goals during his time at Eastlands. Santarelli started her career as a model for prestigious companies such as Armani. In 1999, at the tender age of 18, she won the coveted Elite Model Look Competition which landed her even more desirable modeling gigs and a contract with Elite, the same company that represented other well known models such as Iman and Cindy Crawford.

However, she was still not widely known outside the fashion world until a bit part on the Italian television series Legacy drew widespread notice. Her fan base began to build. Television beckoned again in 2004, when Santarelli signed on to host an Italian sports show. She also appeared in Isola dei Famosi (an Italian version of Celebrity Survivor) in 2006.

Also in 2006, Santarelli thrilled her fans when she appeared in the big screen comedy Vita Smeralda. Her costar was another fan-favorite, Jerry Cala.

In the United States, Santarelli is, unfortunately, less known for her acting and hosting abilities and better known for her appearances in several topless calendars and sexually charged videos. Even a brief web search shows her name listed frequently in websites with names like, “Nude Celebrity Free Video Archive” and “Elena Santarelli – Topless Video.” 

Elena Santarelli is currently engaged to Udinese Bernardo Corradi. On July 22, 2009, she gave birth to their first child, a son named James.
